Hiya folks,

Things have been pretty manic in the London studios here at Phoenix Radio, as I have been in the process of upgrading the studio, which has had just a few hiccoughs!

I have just completed plumbing in a 'New' mixer, which in fact is an ex-BBC desk from either Bristol or Birmingham. Shoe-horning this dsk into my studio has been a real challenge, but along with the rest of the equipment I have installed is providing a great feed for the station and frees up my Soundcraft Serie 5 for Outside Broadcast duties! I am in the process of sorting out a few reliability issues with the playout computer at the moment, which has done some spectacularly random things over the past couple of weeks.. but that is to be expected as we are trying to broadcast on a budget of Zero!
